Responsibilities
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance with the Cold Section Module Center
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to implement proactive supplier base improvement plans
• Utilize established quality processes to accelerate improvement efforts
• Serve as the primary Quality Engineer for a defined supplier base
• Build and maintain relationships with Supplier Quality and Operations leadership, as well as P&W Engineering and Procurement
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and support changes at suppliers
• Support Escape Management by ensuring root cause investigations and robust corrective actions
• Lead and facilitate Vendor Corrective Action Board (VCAB) reviews
Key requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial, Manufacturing with 5+ years xklufbp of experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
• Experience in manufacturing and quality environments
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, AS9145, AS9102
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, QFD, PPAP, 8D, Lean, Control Plans; continuous improvement tools
• Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certifications (CQE, CSQE, etc.) preferred
