Supplier Quality Engineer Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves. Responsibilities: Analyze data to evaluate current processes and seek and recommend ways to improve processes and product. Manage quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including supplier quality manuals and company quality records. Lead quality audits that can include internal quality system and process audits as well as external supplier quality system and process audits. Develop and maintain the document and data collection in the Quality Management System (QMS). Provide leading technical support and collaborate with other departments, vendors, and customers as requested to develop data collected from company metrics, vendor metrics, and quality inspection data. Analyze company and supplier data to implement continuous improvement projects. Track and report monthly metrics including supplier PPM, corrective action completion, trip reports, nonconforming material dispositions, delinquent PPAP, and Fair submissions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or another related field required Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience Software Knowledge: ISO-QS9001 Quality Management Systems and related tools including APQP, PPAP, control failure modes and effects analysis Must be able to interpret part/assembly blueprints and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred AI Readiness: Textron expects employees to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively.
