Supplier Operations Specialist (contract)

Title: Supplier Operations Specialist - Ariba Location : Charlotte, NC Alternate Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 12 months Work Engagement : W2 Work Schedule : 3 days in office/2 days remote Benefits on offer for this contract position : Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: The Supplier Enablement Operations team is seeking a Supplier Operations Specialist to support the ORO Labs Supplier Onboarding platform, Invoice Ingestion initiative, and other high-priority Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation efforts. This role will partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Procurement, Sourcing and Contracts, Accounts Payable, Tax, and Business Groups to improve supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Support the implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement of the ORO Labs Supplier Onboarding platform and related supplier enablement initiatives. Partner with and act as the direct point of contact for suppliers, business and operational stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for system enhancements and process improvements. Research and resolve complex supplier onboarding, invoice ingestion, and system-related issues. May be asked to modify or update new processes, training materials, job aids, and business process documentation. Support strategic initiatives including supplier onboarding modernization, invoice automation and electronic payment adoption Track risks, dependencies, issues, and project deliverables to ensure successful execution. Qualifications : Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Experience in Supplier Enablement, Supplier Onboarding, Procurement Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Procure-to-Pay functions. Familiarity with ORO Labs, Ariba, PeopleSoft, supplier master data, or related supplier onboarding technologies. Experience supporting business requirements and operational readiness activities. Knowledge of supplier onboarding controls, compliance requirements, and risk management practices. Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs and cross-functional strategic initiatives. Ability to collaborate and partner closely with the supplier and key SCM contact(s). Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills. Self-starter who can work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Ability to influence and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups. Ability to quickly assess new challenges, determine root causes, and recommend actionable solutions.
