Duties Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and applications. Assess and analyze security risks, implement security measures to mitigate vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations to leadership based on significant threats and vulnerabilities. Manage and maintain systems and server to ensure compliance with organization systems administration standard operating procedures. Conduct functional and connectivity testing and develop standard operating procedures covering systems administration. Manage complex and long-term projects involving design, procurement, and installation of new information systems. Serve as a supervisor assigning work among employees and providing expert direction for analytical agendas. Ensure subordinates receive training and experience necessary to perform the work assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required 20% or less of the time to travel both within and outside the United States. Must obtain and maintain requirements for certain Cyber work roles. This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85. This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment. DoD Directive 8140.03 requires every full and part-time military service member, defense contractor, civilian and foreign employee with privileged access to a DoD system to comply with the CYBERSPACE WORKFORCE QUALIFICATION AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. During emergency situations will be required to perform "Mission Essential" duties as described in the Joint lnteragency Task Force (JIATF) South Continuity of Operations Plan.
