You will give advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates to meet program goals, objectives, and command priorities, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and participates and prepares schedules for completion of work.
You will develop, review, participate, and mentor subordinates in source selection and evaluation planning. Provides guidance in determination of contract types, methods of solicitation, and negotiation strategy.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, executing, and administering contracts in support of Architect-Engineering and/or construction for shore facilities; 2) Serving as a Source Selection Board member, evaluating contractor past performance, price, experience and technical ability;
