Job Description Position Summary: The Supervisor, Warehouse/Services Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and supply chain service operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, material handling, and related support services. This role leads warehouse personnel, ensures safe and compliant operations, and supports reliable service to internal and external customers. The Supervisor partners with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Facilities, Transportation, and other cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and timely delivery of materials and services. Position Responsibilities: Supervise daily picking, staging, packing, shipping, and material-handling activities. Coordinate warehouse schedules, staffing assignments, workload balancing, and shift coverage. Lead, coach, and develop employees. Assign daily work and communicate priorities, expectations, performance standards, and safety requirements. Monitor service levels and resolve operational issues that may affect production, customers, or business continuity. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable work environment and culture. Support onboarding, training, qualification, and cross-training activities. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees follow required safety practices. Ensure adherence to applicable standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, and company policies. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, inventory flow, space utilization, cost, quality, and customer service. Escalate service disruptions, equipment issues, or resource constraints in a timely manner. Use operational data and performance metrics to identify trends and root causes. Support business continuity, contingency planning, and operational readiness activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management, manufacturing supply chain, or related operations. 5 years of experience is preferred. Experience supervising or leading employees in a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience using warehouse management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, or inventory-control platforms. Working knowledge of material handling, shipping and receiving, and warehouse safety. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries as a plus. Experience supporting audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective or preventive actions as a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
