The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist Supervisor/Supply Technician (NH-2005-II) to work with the 45th LRS at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. Member will provide supply operations support pertaining to specialized or unique supplies, equipment, & parts requiring unusual degrees of protection in shipment and storage, or other items that are unique to the organization’s mission. Performs customer support service functions relating to supply requirements to include support of weapons systems and critical launch operations and material control functions for downrange location requirements. Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment. This is a Key position. Incumbents must be removed from their military recall status if alternatives for filling the position during an emergency are not available. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods to include requisitioning, requirements, equipment management, inspection activities, demand processing, records maintenance, and customer service. Knowledge of logistical functions, operations, systems, program requirements, and work methods. Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve issues and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization. Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc., to accomplish tasks and resolve problems.
