The Role We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Operations reporting to the Assistant Manager, Operations. This vacancy is a f ull-time permanent opportunity. The availability to work all shifts in a 24/7 operation is necessary to succeed in this role. As a member of our Distribution team, you will play a critical leadership role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced, unionized environment. You’ll be responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, supporting inventory and fleet management, and delivering exceptional service to our retail and wholesale customers. Success in this role requires strong communication and people leadership skills, sound decision-making, and the ability to motivate and guide teams in a 24/7 environment. Location Onsite at the Calgary Distribution Centre What You'll Be Doing Supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of fleet and equipment and coordination of their delivery and return with dispatchers Training of new and existing employees and performance management Ensure vendors/service providers are meeting the needs of the operation in a timely and cost-efficient manner Advise drivers on fleet/equipment related questions and provide training where necessary Monitoring fleet related key budgetary accounts and ensure cost targets are met Ensure the company’s Health and Safety, Operational and Budgetary efficiencies are met Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service Other responsibilities involve Inventory, Quality Control, and Audit compliance Maintain adherence to company fleet policies and regulations Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-informed decisions and support continuous improvement initiatives Perform other related projects and duties as required Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education High school diploma or equivalent required Post secondary education considered an asset Experience 3+ years of Supervisory experience preferred A minimum of 3 - 5 years of operations experience Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong asset Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports Above average communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WCB regulations Compensation Salary range?
