Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. This role is vital in driving sales, managing daily store activities, and fostering a positive shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail management. As a Supervisor, you will be instrumental in motivating staff, overseeing inventory, and maintaining operational excellence to meet business goals. Responsibilities Lead and supervise retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. Manage daily store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize product presentation. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and performance. Handle recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members. Monitor sales performance, manage payroll records, and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices. Implement operational procedures related to purchasing, inventory management, and store safety standards. Requirements Proven supervising experience within the retail industry with a strong background in sales team management. Excellent management skills with the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively across diverse groups. Strong knowledge of retail math including pricing, budgeting, and cash handling procedures. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management tools, and basic bookkeeping software. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and operational management. Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and managing shift schedules.
