Studio Operations & Fulfilment Coordinator

You might be our person. Make is a proudly Vancouver company creating original products inspired by the places, people and personality of the West Coast. Behind our stores is our East Vancouver studio, where we produce, receive, finish, organize and ship a lot of product. We are looking for a Studio Operations & Fulfilment Coordinator to help keep it all moving. This is a hands on role for someone who is equally comfortable working with physical products and keeping the details straight behind the scenes. There is variety, there is movement, and there will definitely be boxes. What You Will Be Doing: Product Finishing and Quality Control You will be one of the final sets of eyes on our products before they reach our stores and wholesale customers. Inspect finished products for quality, placement, sizing, damage and accuracy. Identify items needing rework and flag recurring quality issues. Hang tag, fold, label and package products for sale or shipment. Make sure finished goods move promptly from production into inventory. Inventory We make and move a lot of different products, designs, colours and sizes. Keeping track of them matters. Count and organize finished goods by SKU, design, colour and size. Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies. Keep available, allocated and work in progress inventory clearly organized. Complete regular stock counts and maintain tidy storage areas. If organizing, straightening and finding a better place to put something brings you joy, we consider that a feature. Fulfilment and Shipping You will help make sure the right products get to the right place at the right time. Pick, check and pack wholesale orders and store transfers. Prepare shipping labels, packing slips and transfer documentation. Coordinate courier pickups and deliveries. Update inventory and order records after shipments leave. Communicate tracking information, delays and shortages. Spot problems early rather than waiting until they become emergencies. Studio Operations You will work closely with our Studio Manager and production team to help keep the overall operation flowing. Receive and organize incoming products, supplies and materials. Help move goods efficiently through receiving, production, inventory and dispatch. Monitor packaging and assigned studio supplies. Keep packing, shipping, inventory and shared work areas organized. Help with stock movement, storage projects and other studio priorities. Pitch in elsewhere when fulfilment is quieter. We are a small enough team that “that is not my job” is not really our thing. You Will Probably Love This Job If You Are highly organized and detail oriented. Like completing things and getting them out the door. Notice mistakes other people miss. Enjoy working with physical products rather than sitting at a desk all day. Are comfortable with computers, spreadsheets and administrative systems. Can shift priorities when something more urgent comes along. Communicate early when you see a problem. Like finding better and simpler ways of doing things. Take pride in leaving a workspace better organized than you found it.
