Studio + Fulfillment Manager

NatterDoodle is growing, and there’s room for a new teammate in our colorful Clintonville studio! We’re hiring a Studio + Fulfillment Manager. Behind every package of personality-packed goods are orders to fulfill, inventory to organize, workshops to prep, and markets to get ready for. This role helps make all of that happen. The ideal teammate gets real satisfaction from an organized space, a finished checklist, and knowing they helped make someone’s day. Someone who notices the details, follows through, communicates clearly, and cares about the people around them. This is a hands-on position: packing orders, assembling products, keeping the studio clean and welcoming, preparing workshop supplies, coordinating market logistics, and training and supporting Market Associates. From a big wholesale shipment to a refreshed window display, the everyday details matter here. NatterDoodle is in a period of growth, and we’re looking for someone excited to grow along with the business. The details: $20 per hour 20 hours per week to start, with plans to grow to 30+ hours In person at our Clintonville studio in Columbus, Ohio Daytime availability between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday Occasional weekend availability for markets and events Experience in shipping, inventory, retail, or hands-on operations is strongly preferred. POSITION OVERVIEW The Studio + Fulfillment Manager owns the day-to-day physical operation of NatterDoodle. This is a hands-on working manager position responsible for keeping the studio organized, stocked, clean, functional, and ready for business; ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time; maintaining physical inventory; assembling and preparing products; supporting workshops and events; and managing the operational execution of NatterDoodle’s market program. The Studio + Fulfillment Manager directly supervises Market Associates and may direct the Special Projects Assistant when that person is assigned to studio, inventory, market, or event-related work. STUDIO OPERATIONS Manage the day-to-day physical operation of the NatterDoodle studio. Open and close the studio as scheduled. Maintain readiness for shopping hours, appointments, workshops, meetings, events, and visitors. Maintain organized workspaces, stockrooms, shipping stations, assembly areas, and customer-facing spaces. Receive and appropriately store deliveries. Maintain and refresh retail displays and the studio window display. Monitor and order approved shipping, cleaning, assembly, and studio supplies. Identify maintenance, equipment, or repair needs. Maintain basic studio safety supplies and procedures. Ensure the physical studio consistently reflects NatterDoodle’s colorful, welcoming, thoughtful customer experience. FULFILLMENT + SHIPPING Manage and perform Shopify, Faire, wholesale, subscription, and other order fulfillment. Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders accurately. Prioritize orders according to deadlines and shipping requirements. Maintain NatterDoodle’s packaging, presentation, and quality standards. Prepare large wholesale and high-volume orders. Maintain organized and fully stocked shipping stations. Monitor and reorder approved shipping supplies. Troubleshoot routine fulfillment and shipping issues.
