Assist in the daily operation of the Center for Print Production. Provide exemplary customer service by communicating with customers who have contacted the Center for Print Production via telephone and email. Operate of a point of sale register to transact the sale of Print Production materials.
Receive printing and duplicating requests from customers through a variety of formats to include paper, email, disc, and flash drives. Identify work requirements and priorities and set up and schedule the processing of orders. Assist customers to resolve pre-production questions and communicate information regarding production timelines and issues.
Operate Personal and Macintosh computers utilizing software applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design and other programs to complete/produce orders.
At times be called upon to assist in the production of print materials - which may include: operating high-speed copiers and other duplicating equipment; replacing toner, correcting malfunctions and making minor repairs; performing bindery work such as folding, cutting, stitching, hole punching, laminating and spiral/fastback/coil binding.
Consideration will be given to candidates who will be able to work during the summer as well as AY27.
