Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives and procurement category management strategies. Conduct comprehensive market research and supplier analysis to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with procurement regulations, and risk mitigation. Manage vendor contract lifecycle from initiation through renewal or termination, maintaining accurate contract management records. Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance teams to coordinate procurement activities and optimize supply chain efficiency. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and e-procurement platforms to streamline purchasing processes and track procurement metrics. Perform root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Experience Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement management, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Strong vendor contract management skills with a focus on negotiation and supplier relationship development. Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms for procurement processing and data analysis. Knowledge of procurement regulatory frameworks, public sector purchasing procedures, and compliance standards. Experience managing procurement categories including materials management, production planning, logistics, and quality assurance. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. Familiarity with sourcing strategies for manufacturing environments and experience conducting category management analyses.
