Senior Sourcing Specialist About the Role At NorMed, we are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist with strong purchasing instincts, excellent negotiation skills, and a drive to find new opportunities. This is not a transactional purchasing role. We want someone who works independently , challanges the status quo, anticipates needs, and continually asks: "Can we do better". Key Responsibilities Source and develop domestic and international suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms, MOQS, lead times and freight. Identify and deliver cost-reduction and margin-improvement opportunities. Lead RFQs, competitive bids, supplier evaluations, and negotiations. Analyze purchasing data, pricing, volumes, and market conditions to identify opportunities. Develop alternative sources and reduce supply-chain risk. Take sourcing initiatives from opportunity through implementation and measurable results. What We're Looking For Strong negotiator with excellent commercial instincts. Proactive, resourceful, and highly self-sufficient. Naturally looks for savings and sourcing opportunities. Comfortable challenging suppliers, pricing, and existing approaches. Analytical and able to turn data into action. Forward-looking and able to anticipate problems and opportunities. Strong sense of ownership and follow-through. Preferred Qualifications Four-year degree preferred, but not required. 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain experience preferred. Proven supplier sourcing and negotiation experience. Strong analytical, Excel, and problem-solving skills. ERP/MRP experience preferred. International sourcing experience is a plus.
