Strategic Sourcing Specialist Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 Employment Type: W2 Contract – 12 Months with the Possibility of Extension Pay Rate: $35.27 – $43.27/hour (determined by experience) Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work Model: Hybrid | Onsite 3 Days per Week Role Overview BEPC is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support our client’s global sourcing and procurement organization in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support key sourcing initiatives through supplier negotiations, RFQ execution, commodity management, contract administration, supplier data management, and procurement analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier negotiation, SAP/ERP, and RFQ experience , along with the business and financial acumen needed to manage supplier relationships and support sourcing objectives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead commodity management activities and supplier negotiations. Develop and distribute RFQ packages, including drawings and supporting documentation. Support RFQ activities from supplier selection through award and implementation. Prepare, route, and upload Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Draft unilateral letters, novations, assignments, and assumptions in collaboration with Legal and Contracts teams. Review supplier amendments for accuracy and compliance before execution. Prepare Extended Terms Requests (ETRs), FAIR pull requests, supplier scorecards, and Fair & Reasonable Price Justifications (FRPJs). Maintain SAP data, including MOQ changes, pricing validation, contract validation, and VMI updates. Execute vendor master additions and changes and support material master updates. Analyze part demand, forecasts, historical receipts, and sourcing data. Maintain supplier documentation within contract management systems. Initiate Should-Cost Engineering (SCE) analysis requests. Resolve purchase order and Supplier Portal issues. Support contract management activities and maintain supplier data integrity. Support and analyze CID and BAA content assessments. Collaborate with suppliers and internal cross-functional stakeholders. Support strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with organizational operating plans. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence. Qualifications Strong experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management. Demonstrated experience personally leading supplier negotiations. Experience managing RFQ processes, including supplier selection, quotation analysis, award, and implementation. Proficiency with SAP or comparable ERP systems for sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or contract administration. Experience with eSourcing tools and RFQ platforms. Strong business and financial acumen. Excellent negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze supplier, pricing, demand, forecast, and sourcing data. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools. Project management and/or contract management experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, Project Management, or Contract Management preferred. Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred. Strong interest in process improvement and operational excellence.
