Strategic Sourcing Manager

It means understanding the business requirement, comparing options, negotiating the right terms and building supplier relationships that hold up over time. We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager in Fort Worth, TX to take ownership of strategic purchasing activities and help improve how the organization sources products and services. You’ll work across procurement, finance, operations and other departments, balancing cost, quality, availability and supplier performance when making sourcing decisions. What You’ll Own Develop sourcing strategies for assigned categories and spend areas Research markets and identify qualified suppliers Lead supplier selection and competitive bidding processes Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs and supplier evaluations Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and service agreements Review supplier proposals and total cost considerations Manage relationships with key and strategic suppliers Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery Conduct spend and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities Track sourcing projects, savings and procurement metrics Support contract renewals and commercial negotiations Identify supply risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans Partner with finance and operations on purchasing decisions Maintain supplier information, contracts and sourcing documentation Support procurement process improvements and standardization Provide sourcing recommendations to management Experience That Fits 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain Strong supplier negotiation and contract management experience Experience managing competitive sourcing events Strong analytical and financial reasoning skills Proficiency with Excel and procurement or ERP systems Ability to evaluate supplier pricing, capabilities and performance Strong communication and relationship management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience with category management is a plus Experience with supplier risk management is a plus Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations or a related field is preferred Position Details Full-time Fort Worth, TX Standard business hours Professional and collaborative work environment Compensation based on experience and qualifications Apply for the Position If you have a strong background in sourcing and enjoy negotiating, analyzing costs and building supplier relationships, apply for the Strategic Sourcing Manager position in Fort Worth, TX.
