About the Opportunity: The STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER leads sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiations specifically for technology and professional services. This role is critical in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals, managing supplier relationships to mitigate risks and improve service quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to support procurement decisions. The position directly contributes to cost savings, operational efficiency, and the overall value delivered by the procurement function. Responsibilities: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for technology and professional services categories Conduct spend analysis, market research, and supplier assessments Lead competitive sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs Build category strategies aligned with organizational goals Manage relationships with strategic suppliers and service providers Evaluate supplier performance and conduct business reviews Identify and mitigate supplier risks Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers Lead negotiations for supplier agreements and related contracts Partner with legal, finance, IT, and business teams during contracting Ensure contract compliance and proper documentation Collaborate with department leaders to understand sourcing needs Provide procurement guidance to internal stakeholders Support budgeting, forecasting, and vendor selection Identify and execute cost reduction and value-generation initiatives Track sourcing outcomes and report savings Improve procurement processes and supplier effectiveness Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Procurement, or related field 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management Experience with sourcing and negotiating contracts in technology and professional services Proven success in supplier negotiations and cost savings Strong understanding of contract terms and supplier management Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience in staffing, workforce solutions, human capital, or professional services industries Experience sourcing technology solutions such as SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, cybersecurity, and IT consulting Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, CPM) Pay Range and Compensation Package: Salary range: $124,300 to $155,300 annually, depending on experience and location Eligibility for an annual bonus subject to plan terms Benefits & Perks: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-matching 401(k) plan Paid holidays and Paid Time Off Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
