Strategic Sourcing Lead

Seeking a globally focused Department Lead for IT Strategic Sourcing to define and execute sourcing strategies that maximize value, reduce costs, and manage risks across IT categories such as software, services, and infrastructure. This role leads a distributed team, collaborates with IT and procurement leaders, and oversees vendor performance, compliance, and negotiations to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities include developing multi-year category roadmaps, establishing standardized processes, managing vendor relationships through KPIs and performance reviews, and ensuring service quality and governance. The role involves resource planning, budget management, and developing talent within a high-performance team. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 15+ years of sourcing and procurement experience, extensive IT contract negotiation skills, and leadership expertise. Strong negotiation, communication, process management, and strategic partnership abilities are essential, along with experience managing global budgets and vendor relationships. The position requires operational leadership, stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment. Work is onsite with some remote flexibility; visa sponsorship is not available.
