The position is base at our downtown Montréal office on an hybrid model Your role The Strategic Sourcing Category Manager is responsible for developing and implementing long-term sourcing strategies for assigned categories. Working closely with internal stakeholders, global partners within the Sodiaal Group , and key suppliers, you will support innovation by generating value, ensuring operational continuity, and contributing to the growth of Yoplait Liberté Canada . What you will accomplish daily Manage category sourcing strategies in alignment with a long-term procurement vision based on business needs. Launch and manage Requests for Proposal/Quotation/Information (RFx), and analyze both technical and commercial proposals. Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with key and new suppliers to structure and strengthen business relationships. Identify and propose projects to internal stakeholders, deploying innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and deliver added value to consumers. Monitor supplier performance throughout projects and ensure rigorous follow-up on costs, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with and advise the Sodiaal category team in France to adapt global strategies to the Canadian market. Develop and implement risk management strategies for assigned categories, in collaboration with relevant departments, to ensure business continuity. Monitor market trends and developments that may impact the category. What you need to join our team Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or a related technical field, including at least 2 years in category management, ideally within a multinational organization. Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities. Excellent operational skills combined with a long-term strategic mindset. Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Want to be part of a company that has both flavour… and purpose?
