Position Description: The Strategic Sourcing Analyst builds and runs Lyte Fiber's sourcing function for materials and services (engineering & construction), from tactical purchase order execution today through a formal, standardized RFP and contracting process as the company scales into new markets. This is a shared service role: it brings structure, negotiating leverage, and process discipline to how Lyte buys, while final vendor selection continues to sit with the department that owns the underlying need. Duties and Responsibilities: Own & support vendor negotiation and pricing for materials and services purchased across Lyte Fiber. Design, build, and maintain standardized Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) templates for use across markets. Build and run a formal RFP process for pricing and buildout sourcing as Lyte scales in a decentralized, market-by-market fashion. Enter and manage purchase orders and provide day-to-day tactical procurement support (absorbed from the current Purchaser role). Partner with requesting departments – including Operations and PMO – to structure SOWs and negotiate terms, while final vendor selection authority remains with the requesting department. Support GC-related sourcing activity in a shared-service capacity as needed, without taking on primary GC relationship ownership, which remains with VP Operations and PMO. Track vendor performance, contract terms, and contract expirations to keep Lyte's supplier base current and compliant. Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.
