Total 02 Roles Open: 1 Role Direct Hire for Strategic Purchaser Location: Lakewood, NJ | Job Type: Full-Time | Work Setup: Onsite Compensation: $70,000 Base Salary + Bonuses up to $50,000 1 Direct Hire for Junior Buyer in Lyndhurst NJ (Different Role) Cpmpensation: $55k to $65K Job Overview We are seeking a market-driven, analytical, and strategic purchaser to manage and grow our e-commerce and dropship purchasing operations, primarily within the consumer electronics industry. The ideal candidate understands market trends, pricing dynamics, supplier relationships, and inventory profitability. Key Responsibilities Monitor market pricing, product trends, promotions, and supply-demand dynamics. Identify profitable purchasing opportunities and make strategic buy, hold, or pass decisions. Source products and build relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and suppliers. Negotiate competitive pricing, deals, and favorable purchasing terms. Manage inventory, margins, cash flow, and purchasing risks. Identify new products, brands, and opportunities to increase profitability. Collaborate with sales and e-commerce teams to optimize inventory movement. Maintain purchasing records and communicate decisions, risks, and expected outcomes. Qualifications Experience in purchasing, procurement, product sourcing, trading, or e-commerce. Strong market awareness, negotiation, and analytical skills. Understanding of profit margins, inventory turnover, and cash flow. Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership of results. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience in consumer electronics, dropshipping, retail arbitrage, wholesale trading, or closeout inventory.
