Strategic Buyer

We are seeking a Strategic Buyer responsible for procurement, cost negotiation, and subcontract management of materials and services from approved suppliers to ensure timely delivery at optimal costs. Partner with internal teams to understand needs, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and review requisitions. Lead RFQ processes, analyze quotations, negotiate costs, and assess risks to maximize value. Manage supplier communications, resolve issues related to orders, quality, and delivery, and interpret supplier agreements. Execute purchase orders, maintain documentation, monitor deliveries, and support procurement operations. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, with over 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management. Key skills: strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, compliance, and procurement process expertise. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Spanish) is a plus. Work environment involves office settings with some travel (10–25%) to supplier sites, physical ability to visit manufacturing facilities, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
