Job Summary Straight Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate job summary Our busy logistics company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Straight Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Responsibilities and Duties Delivery Driver responsibilities Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications Safely deliver orders to customers on assigned routes Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher Unload goods as per client specifications Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Pre/Post truck vehicle inspections Qualifications and Skills Delivery Driver skills Minimum 3 year’s experience as Straight Truck Delivery Driver Clean driving record Valid DOT Medical Card Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test Strong customer service skills Must possess a positive and professional attitude Good communication skills Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage available as stated in employee handbook Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.25 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Driving: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) DOT (Required) Work Location: In person
