The Storeroom Clerk performs routine manual and clerical work for the purchasing department. This person is responsible for receiving, logging, storing, and releasing items from the purchasing storeroom. As a storeroom clerk, you are also responsible for deliveries and inventorying items in the storeroom area. This person must be able to lift, carry, and push moderate to heavy amounts of weight and have basic communication skills. This person must also be able to stand for long periods of time. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have good organizational skills and an ability to complete assignments accurately and timely with attention to detail Ability to comprehend, carry out and relay multiple verbal and written communications Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Ability to lift, push, pull, & carry heavy amounts of weight Ability to perform basic math calculations Refined verbal communication skills Must have excellent interpersonal skills A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment Must be able to work the following shift: Tues thru Thursday 8:00Am - 2:00PM Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
