Overview This position will assist in the upkeep and daily functioning of Sen Organic Farmer's Market, a small retail shop in Carytown, attached to Chum Chum Onigiri and Sen Organic Flower Shop. Duties Greet Customers as they enter and exit the shop, offer assistance and answer any questions they may have. Take orders and process both order, and merchandise, transactions. Answer phone calls, either answering inquiries or redirecting to the appropriate management to do so. Take inventory of stock, input in system, organize on shelves. Light cleaning duties, i.e. dusting, sweeping, mopping. Assist in completing a list of tasks each day, including social media. Cash-handling through transactions and end-of-day deposits. Skills Cash Handling POS and Retail Software, such as Toast. Scheduling Software, such as 7shifts. Customer Service Written and Verbal Communication Organization and Multi-tasking Requirements Sitting/Standing for longer periods of time Comfortable speaking face-to-face or over the phone Using a Retail Software Lifting up to 20lbs Bending, reaching Pay: From $12.77 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
