Role Summary: Our AB Branch is looking for Storekeeper to join the team working out of the Calgary branch office. Duties are to be performed in accordance with scheduled installation dates, mandated technician vehicle stock levels, and established procedural and documentation requirements. It is a great position for those who enjoy autonomy and managing themselves in a high functioning team atmosphere. This is a branch office based role working directly out of the branch office 5 days a week. Job Responsibilities: Receive equipment and parts ordered for pick-up or delivery, and release to corresponding sales orders where applicable. Ensure coordination of all sales orders within the relevant inventory management system(s). Replace all defective equipment and prepare them for repair where feasible. Maintain required levels of inventory by removing or discarding surplus and obsolete equipment and parts. Ensure all documentation related to receiving, storage, transfers and shipping is complete and submitted where required. Participate in the performance and completion of physical inventory counts. Maintain company equipment in good working order and promote a safe and environmentally friendly work environment. Update and maintain MSDSs along with being responsible for disposal of waste as per EH&S policies. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Branch Manager or the Operations Manager. Job Requirements: Able to perform repetitive lifting Previous experience with materials handling preferred Capable of lifting 50lbs Good oral and written communication skills Good organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards Demonstrated initiative, with a good team player attitude Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines More about the position: Post-Secondary education in supply chain management or a related discipline preferred.
