Store Team Leader

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Team Leader to oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and foster a dynamic team environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and executing operational procedures with precision. Responsibilities Lead and supervise retail sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and motivation. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize product presentation and availability. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure team growth and engagement. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone or in person, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained. Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members. Monitor operational compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cash handling procedures. Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong background in retail sales management, inventory management, and operational oversight. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and training & development. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and merchandising practices. Experience with grocery or retail store environments is preferred but not required; a solid understanding of retail math and basic financial principles is essential. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational prowess to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
