DirlaBid.com is looking for a friendly, hardworking team member to join our store and online auction operation! We're not a traditional warehouse or distribution center. We're a locally operated online auction business where thousands of products move through our store, from household goods and electronics to tools, furniture, and much more. This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety. One day you might be helping customers pick up auction purchases, and the next you're testing products, organizing merchandise, or making a local pickup in our box truck. What You'll Be Doing Assist customers picking up their larger auction purchases. Locate, pack, and prepare merchandise for customer shipping. Receive, unload, sort, and organize incoming merchandise. Operate a pallet jack and other basic material-handling equipment. Drive a company box truck for occasional local pickups and deliveries. Inspect, test, clean, and prepare products for online auction listings. Help keep the store, merchandise areas, and workspaces clean and organized. Assist with moving furniture, appliances, boxes, and other merchandise. Work alongside other team members to keep daily operations running smoothly. Perform other general store and auction-related duties as assigned. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. You don't need years of warehouse experience to succeed here. Our ideal team member is someone who: Shows up on time and is ready to work. Is honest, dependable, and takes pride in doing a good job. Enjoys helping customers and working with a small team. Can stay productive without constant supervision. Is comfortable doing physical work throughout the day. Can safely lift and move boxes and merchandise, with assistance or equipment when needed. Has a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable for operating our company vehicle. Is comfortable and able to drive a small box truck. Has basic mechanical or technical ability to inspect and test products. Can follow instructions, stay organized, and pay attention to details. Is willing to pitch in wherever help is needed. Experience in retail, customer service, moving, delivery, maintenance, or general store operations is helpful. We'll train the right person!
