Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, fostering a positive employee orientation experience. Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity. Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability. Implement effective training and development programs to enhance team performance and operational efficiency. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and reporting; ensure smooth shift management. Maintain excellent communication with staff through managerial communication skills; handle customer inquiries with professionalism. Skills Proven experience in retail management or supervising a sales team within the retail industry. Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Expertise in inventory management, POS systems, and retail math for accurate stock control and sales analysis. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in training, coaching, and developing team members. Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and managerial communication. Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising standards, and operational management. Ability to motivate staff through effective supervision, team management, and performance feedback.
