Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of customer service. Recruit, interview, and train staff to build a motivated and skilled team committed to excellence. Manage payroll, scheduling, and personnel records accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies. Oversee merchandising efforts, including product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sales opportunities. Handle purchasing decisions, supplier negotiations, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) Lightspeed systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales tracking with precision and integrity. Develop marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones while analyzing sales data for continuous improvement. Monitor store budget, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service standards. Maintain excellent communication with staff through regular meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth. Skills Proven experience in retail management with strong supervisory skills and team leadership capabilities. Excellent negotiation skills for vendor contracts, purchasing agreements, and conflict resolution. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Proficiency in recruiting, training & development programs to enhance team performance. Strong understanding of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative procedures. Familiarity with POS systems, pricing strategies, merchandising techniques, and sales management tools. Exceptional communication skills coupled with phone etiquette for customer interactions and team coordination. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Sound math skills for cash handling, sales analysis, and financial reporting purposes.
