Store Manager

Duties Lead and supervise the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management. Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to foster a motivated and skilled team. Implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to enhance team performance. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and develop strategies to increase revenue. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards. Skills Proven experience in retail management or store supervision within the retail industry. Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and pricing strategies. Excellent managerial communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interactions. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases. Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory management software. Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff. Sound knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales management. Skilled in operational management tasks such as stock control, merchandising, and shift scheduling. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
