Store Manager

Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement. Manage daily cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and financial transactions accurately. Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to maximize sales opportunities. Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and facilitate training & development initiatives for staff. Maintain effective communication with team members and upper management to ensure smooth store operations. Requirements Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting to build a motivated team. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases. Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory management systems. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities. Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management, operational oversight, and team development. Strong communication skills for managerial conversations, customer interactions, and staff training. Knowledge of grocery store or retail product knowledge is a plus; previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
