Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to optimize product availability. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members to build a high-performing team. Implement effective scheduling, shift management, and employee orientation programs. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Maintain accurate payroll processing and administrative records in compliance with company policies. Monitor sales data, manage budgets, and execute operational strategies to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations related to retail management. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or related industries with supervisory responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, purchasing, and cash handling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams through managerial communication techniques. Solid understanding of retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis. Supervising experience within retail sales teams is highly desirable along with assistant manager background. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques. Knowledge of retail industry sales practices combined with strong leadership qualities aimed at fostering team success.
