Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Store Manager. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including employee management, inventory control, order fulfillment, customer service, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record of success in retail management. Responsibilities: Employee Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store staff. Create employee schedules and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours. Inventory Management: Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to monitor stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and optimize product availability. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Order Fulfillment: Oversee the fulfillment of customer orders, including online orders, phone orders, and in-store purchases. Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations. Customer Service: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service. Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Actively engage with customers to drive sales and promote brand loyalty. Cash Register Procedures: Proficiently operate the cash register and POS system. Conduct cash handling procedures, including opening and closing the register, processing transactions, and reconciling cash drawers. Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times. Implement cleaning schedules and procedures to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Dependability and Accountability: Demonstrate reliability and accountability in fulfilling job duties and responsibilities. Take ownership of store performance and outcomes. Making sure to help with the other store's performance at Ouray and provide any support needed there as well. Owner Assisting: This position will have some personal assistant aspects to it, owner may need help booking hotels or flights for tradeshows or other work related trips. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Owner on store performance, including sales metrics, inventory levels, staffing issues, and customer feedback. Qualifications: Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a similar gourmet food or specialty retail setting. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and POS systems. Exceptional customer service and sales skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, accountable, and trustworthy. High school diploma or equivalent; College classes (preferred but not required).
