Store Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. As the leader of the store, you will manage staff performance, optimize inventory control, and implement effective merchandising strategies. Duties Report directly to the General Manager, receive great training and onboarding, get time to get up to speed, and then Manager the store following the training and Smoothie King way. Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance. Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock management, and inventory control to meet sales targets and reduce shrinkage. Oversee sales management by setting goals, monitoring performance metrics, and motivating the team to achieve sales objectives. Handle cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, cashiering duties, and payroll processing with accuracy. Implement effective merchandising strategies, pricing policies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently. Conduct managerial communication with staff through regular meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures including shift management and operational audits. Utilize organizational skills to manage scheduling, budgeting, bookkeeping tasks, and administrative responsibilities effectively. Work in back of house (prep) and front of house (the Smoothie/Bowl/Food Bar) Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry or grocery store environment with a focus on sales team leadership. Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong background in employee orientation, training & development, and team management. Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and retail math including basic math calculations for pricing and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, purchasing procedures, and cash handling protocols. Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
