Store Manager

Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing retail staff. Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee orientation to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency. Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting with accuracy. Implement operational procedures for safety compliance, cash handling, bookkeeping, and store maintenance. Drive sales management initiatives by setting targets, motivating staff, and analyzing sales data to improve performance. Skills Proven experience in retail management with supervising and team leadership skills. Strong knowledge of retail math including budgeting, pricing, inventory management, and sales analysis. Excellent communication skills in managing managerial communication with staff and customers alike. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Skilled in negotiation, recruiting, training & development to build a motivated retail team. Proficient in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic bookkeeping practices. Demonstrated ability in operational management including merchandising, stock control, and shift management. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
