Store Manager

Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing retail staff. Manage employee orientation, training & development initiatives to enhance team skills and engagement. Oversee scheduling, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Implement inventory management strategies, including purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing, and stock rotation to maximize profitability. Develop and execute sales strategies by analyzing retail math data and setting achievable targets for the team. Maintain operational excellence through shift management, budgeting, merchandising, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. (At least 2 years experiance). Strong skills in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and managerial communication. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred but not required to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with POS systems, inventory control software, and basic math for retail calculations. Demonstrated leadership in retail sales team management with excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of retail industry sales practices including pricing strategies, merchandising, and stock management. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing outstanding customer service. Effective time management skills with a focus on operational efficiency and team supervision.
