Store Manager

Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to optimize product availability. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to foster a high-performing team environment. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain excellent phone etiquette. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and operational management. Experience with retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
