Store Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the team at George Richards Big & Tall, a specialty retailer of men's clothing and accessories. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, drive sales performance, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure an organized and welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for menswear, and the ability to build a motivated team while meeting business objectives. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and motivate store associates, including recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management. Provide personalized customer service by assisting customers with clothing selections, sizing, fit, and product recommendations. Maintain attractive product displays and implement merchandising strategies to showcase men's clothing, footwear, and accessories. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure product availability across a range of sizes and styles. Track sales performance, review store reports, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and improve profitability. Manage staff scheduling, operational expenses, and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient store operations. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, returns, and exchanges professionally. Ensure compliance with company policies, loss prevention procedures, and health and safety standards. Foster a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales, store supervision, or retail management. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to train and motivate employees. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory control, and visual merchandising. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic store reporting. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities. Ability to analyze sales results and take action to achieve store targets. Interest in men's fashion, clothing fit, and personalized customer service. Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
