About the Store It is a conceptual luxury boutique in the East Village carrying high-end menswear and select womenswear. The Role The Store Manager runs it day to day: leading the sales team to hit its goals, running store operations, and keeping the floor to our standard. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how luxury clients expect to be treated. Responsibilities Sales team performance Lead the sales team to hit store goals, including daily sales, conversion and average transaction value, by setting targets, tracking results and coaching each associate. Make sure associates build and work their client books, follow up with top clients and keep VICs coming back. Hold the team to a luxury-level client experience and handle escalated concerns. Team Recruit, interview, onboard and train sales associates and stock staff. Set schedules and shifts, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Support payroll prep by tracking hours and attendance. Product and floor Know every brand we carry: the designers, fabrication, fit, and the story behind each piece, and train the team to speak to it. Keep visual merchandising to it's standard and execute new-season drops and floor changes. Give buying input to the owners based on what clients are asking for and what's selling. Operations Oversee inventory control, receiving, stock counts and accurate POS records. Open and close the store, including cash handling, register counts and securing the space at end of day. Coordinate with security on loss prevention for high-value inventory. Support online order fulfillment, packing and shipping, and carrier pickups. Help plan and run in-store events and launches. Requirements 2–3+ years managing in luxury, designer or high-end streetwear retail; strong assistant-manager experience in luxury will be considered. A track record of leading a sales team to hit its targets. Real knowledge of and passion for designer fashion. Experience with inventory management, POS systems and cash handling. Confident leader who can coach a small team and keep standards high. Organized, reliable and able to open and close the store on your own. Nice to have Bilingual or multilingual. Experience setting and tracking individual sales goals for a team. Experience with ecommerce or marketplace order fulfillment.
