Store Manager

Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development to build a motivated team. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential. Oversee cash handling, cashiering procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and daily financial reconciliation. Develop and implement sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor employee performance through coaching, feedback sessions, and conducting performance evaluations. Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and operational records to ensure compliance and efficiency. Skills Proven management experience within the retail industry with strong supervisory skills. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle purchasing negotiations confidently. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, stock control, and retail math calculations. Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail operations management software. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in bookkeeping and scheduling. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, along with leadership capabilities in team management. Knowledge of retail sales techniques including merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and safety.
