What You'll Be Doing As a Store Clerk/Cashier, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Operating POS systems and cash registers accurately during retail transactions. Managing cash handling duties, including cash drawer management and basic math calculations. Providing exceptional customer service with friendly communication and professional phone etiquette. Assisting customers with product inquiries and upselling to meet their needs. Stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining proper merchandising standards. Assisting with ordering and updating the POS system with new and existing inventory. Performing retail math calculations for sales, discounts, and inventory management. Keeping the sales floor and stockroom clean and organized. Assisting in the kitchen as needed. What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualifications: Experience : At least 1 year of experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred. Customer Service Skills : A friendly and professional demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively. Retail Knowledge : Familiarity with merchandising, inventory stocking procedures, and retail product knowledge. Math Skills : Basic math abilities for handling transactions and inventory management. Physical Stamina : The ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like stocking shelves or moving merchandise. Leadership Potential : Supervising experience is a plus but not required; we value leadership skills. Kitchen Experience : Previous experience in a kitchen is a bonus but not mandatory. Why Join Us?
