Store Cashier/Clerk

Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring proper cash register operations and balancing at shift end Assist customers with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Stock shelves and maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance store presentation and product accessibility Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and assisting with product replenishment Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or directing calls to appropriate departments Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred, especially with cashiering and POS systems Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual language(s) to serve diverse customer needs Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to assist in team coordination when needed Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during sales and inventory tasks Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
