Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, provide product knowledge, and assist with their shopping needs to enhance their experience. Operate RF scanners and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to stock shelves, unload shipments, and organize inventory efficiently. Manage inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating records, and ensuring accurate product placement. Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading merchandise safely using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices. Maintain a clean, organized store environment by performing merchandising tasks, packaging products, and executing routine cleaning duties. Assist with cashiering duties including retail math calculations, processing transactions accurately, and providing excellent customer service at the register. Collaborate with team members using effective communication skills to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional service delivery. Qualifications Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations background is highly preferred. Ability to operate inventory management systems including RF scanners; forklift certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising tasks. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling; familiar with safe lifting practices for loading/unloading merchandise. Basic math skills for retail transactions, inventory counts, and stock management. Experience with grocery or produce departments is beneficial but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
