Stockroom Supervisor

Poly Electronics is seeking a detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to lead daily stockroom operations and support our production team. Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, you will oversee incoming parts, storage, and material pulls while helping improve accuracy, efficiency, and quality. Success in this role requires strong organization, clear communication, and a consistent focus on getting the right parts to production. What You’ll Do Oversee the receipt, storage, and pulling of all parts. Read and understand bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate part pulls for production builds. Work with Purchasing to understand new incoming parts and their storage and handling requirements. Direct daily stockroom assignments and material flow to meet production and shipping needs. Train stockroom employees, including the Stockroom Assistant, and maintain training records. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace. Coordinate with other departments to support efficient operations and resolve material-related issues. Monitor department performance and work toward meeting or exceeding established metrics. Recommend and support improvements to stockroom processes, efficiency, and quality. Work with the Purchasing Manager to coordinate team vacations and time off. Foster a positive team environment through respectful communication and supportive leadership. Support Poly Electronics’ quality objectives and perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring The ability to accurately read and interpret bills of materials. Strong attention to detail, especially when identifying and pulling parts. The ability to organize daily work and coordinate competing production priorities. Leadership, communication, and employee training skills. A collaborative approach to working with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and other departments. A commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
