Job description: Medical Labs of Windsor is a reputable multi-site medical laboratory dedicated to delivering accurate diagnostic testing and patient care. Since 1962, Medical Laboratories of Windsor (MLW) provides diagnostic testing, interpretative, and advisory services, designed to meet the needs of patients and clinical personnel responsible for their care. MLW has a full-service laboratory providing testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Histology and Cytology. MLW has 7 Specimen Collection Centres, a Home Lab Service, a Courier System, Billing Department and Client Services Department to assist daily operations. MLW adheres to IQMH guidelines and is ISO 15189 PLUS Accredited. Position requirements: Must display ability to perform stockroom duties, including lifting, carrying, stocking, loading, organizing, and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. (lifting test may be required) Good attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. Willingness to assist with general stockroom operations and inventory handling. Other duties may apply as directed by management. Assist Clients by phone or in person while maintaining excellent customer service and appropriate telephone and office etiquette. Hours: Part-time hours ( approx. 8 hours per week, more as needed.) Hours will range between 830am to 4:30pm. Must be available from Monday to Friday. Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills include communication skills, both verbal and written.
