Stockroom Assistant

Job Summary Celltron Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant for our Chatsworth, CA facility. The Stockroom Assistant unpacks, verifies, and receives materials into the company stockroom from Receiving and Inspection (R&I). This role involves preparing materials for shelving (including labeling and part numbering), transacting quantities into our inventory database, and pulling/delivering kits to the production floor. You will also help maintain inventory accuracy through physical cycle counting. Responsibilities Inventory Transactions: Receive, count, and record stock items accurately into the company inventory database using a computer. Stocking & Labeling: Pack and unpack items; mark stock using identification tags, stamps, or labeling equipment, and place them systematically on shelves. Kitting & Delivery: Assemble production kits and deliver materials directly to the production teams as requested. Reporting: Prepare and maintain digital records of inventories, stock movements, and material shortages. Inventory Accuracy: Participate in regular physical inventories and cycle counting practices to ensure data integrity. Shipping & Packing: Safely pack finished products for outbound shipping, ensuring items are protected against damage and compliant with shipping standards. Facility Upkeep: Ensure the stockroom and storage areas are kept in a safe, clean, orderly, and accessible condition. Additional Tasks: Perform other warehouse and support duties as requested or assigned. Job Qualifications Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills with experience in accurate data entry and a proven ability to learn and use company inventory management software. Warehouse Experience: Prior experience in stocking, packaging, kitting, or inventory management/control. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with managers and production teams. Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks, stand for extended periods, and comfortably lift up to 50 pounds . Languages: Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
