Stocker/Cashier

Responsibilities Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing through effective merchandising. Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions swiftly and accurately. Handle cash drawer operations with integrity, including cash handling, balancing registers, and managing cash register operations. Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities. Maintain knowledge of store products to answer customer questions confidently and promote sales. Ensure proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone. Support visual merchandising efforts to keep the store attractive and well-stocked for optimal sales performance. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing stock replenishment or cashier operations. Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve diverse customer needs. Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and basic cash handling procedures is beneficial. Strong communication skills and excellent customer service abilities are essential for success in this role. Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
