Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring products are well-organized and accessible for customers. This position requires a proactive approach to stocking shelves, cleaning, managing inventory control, and providing excellent customer service in a retail environment. Responsibilities Efficiently stock shelves with products, ensuring they are displayed attractively and organized by category. Monitor inventory levels to assist in inventory control and reorder supplies as necessary. Assist customers with inquiries regarding product locations and availability, providing exceptional customer service. Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing products. Maintain cleanliness in the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring a safe and tidy environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Operate forklifts safely when required for moving heavy items or restocking high shelves (if certified). Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers. Familiarity with inventory control processes is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Multilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols is beneficial. A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the store environment.
