Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Stocker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will ensure that products are readily available for retail sales, shipping, and receiving operations. Duties Use RF scanners and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to accurately receive, store, and organize inventory items. Load and unload shipments safely following proper lifting practices, ensuring all products are handled with care. Maintain accurate inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory management systems. Stock shelves, produce sections, or storage areas with retail store product knowledge to ensure a clean, organized presentation for customers. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by preparing orders for dispatch and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Support merchandising efforts by organizing products neatly and ensuring displays are well-maintained. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse areas to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred. Proficiency with RF scanners, forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management tasks. Ability to lift heavy loads safely while following proper manual handling procedures. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for diverse teams. Basic math skills for inventory counts, stock calculations, and retail math applications. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, merchandising standards, and retail product knowledge is beneficial.
